How Walking Wilds Move

A walking wild persists between spins but does not stay put: after each spin it shifts one reel sideways, usually toward the left edge, until it walks off the grid. While on screen it substitutes like any wild, so a single walking wild guarantees several consecutive spins of wild coverage along its path.

Many implementations tie the walk to Respins: the game keeps respinning at no extra cost for as long as at least one walking wild remains.
