Wins feed a Quantumeter that unlocks effects at fixed thresholds: 25 charges trigger Disintegration, removing all copies of 4 randomly chosen symbols from the grid; 50 charges trigger Metamorphosis, transforming every instance of one symbol type into another; 75 charges trigger Radiation, adding wilds and fresh Mega Symbols to the board; and 100 charges convert every Mega Symbol currently on the grid into a mega-sized Gargantoonz wild. Quantum Wilds can also seed 5 to 10 wild symbols onto the grid on a non-winning spin.

Gigantoonz is the series’ answer to a simple question: what happens if a single symbol on the board is worth as much as an entire winning cluster elsewhere? The Mega Symbol system means a giant 7×7 block landing late in a session can single-handedly define the outcome, and the wild it leaves behind keeps paying off on the very next cascade.

Against Reactoonz’s 7×7 grid and single meter, the 8×8 board and 100-charge Quantumeter give Gigantoonz a longer, more patient build, and the very high volatility rating reflects how much of the game’s value sits inside those rare, room-filling Mega Symbol drops rather than in steady incremental wins. The extra row and column over the original grid matter more than they might seem to on paper, since they give Mega Symbols genuinely more room to grow into before they run out of space and start filling gaps with valueless 1×1 copies of themselves instead. That extra headroom is also why the 100-charge threshold for a full Gargantoonz conversion feels achievable rather than purely theoretical over a long enough session, and why patient players tend to rate this entry more highly than its raw hit frequency alone would suggest.
