Random Wilds Slots
How Random Wilds Are Added
Random wilds do not travel on the reel strips: the game itself places them onto the grid as a modifier. The trigger can fire before a spin, after a losing spin to rescue it, or mid-sequence in cascade games. Placement count and positions are random within the rules the game defines.
Because they arrive as an event, random wilds are usually presented as a character or effect touching the reels. The important technical detail is timing relative to evaluation: wilds added before evaluation join that spin’s wins, while wilds added afterwards force a re-evaluation. Rules pages specify the count range, for example 2 to 6 wilds per trigger.
The feature spreads across both base game and bonuses, and often escalates inside Free Spins, where triggers become more frequent or add more symbols. Cascading formats built on Tumble & Cascading Reels use post-drop wild injection as a chain extender.
