Money Train 5 is Relax Gaming’s next mainline entry in the Money Train series, scheduled for release on September 24, 2026, with the demo already live. It returns to the classic 5×4 grid with 40 paylines and rebuilds the bonus as a literal train ride: reels that shunt out of the cart, stations that unlock features, and a Supercharge menu of buy options. The stated theoretical RTP is 96.10%, with a 50,000x win cap in standard mode that doubles to 100,000x in the selectable Ultra Mode.
The base game finally gets a marquee feature of its own: Nuclear Wilds. Crosshairs lock onto up to five reels and plant bombs; when a bomb joins a winning combination it detonates into a full wild reel that counts as all four positions. An Enhanced Spin toggle adds 50% to the bet for a much higher bonus trigger chance, and separate Bonus Reels modes at 10x or 25x per spin strip out every paying symbol to hunt triggers directly.
A Money Cart on Rails
The bonus, now formally called Free Spins, keeps the 3-spin reset loop and adds movement. Ticket symbols shift the reels from right to left; each reel that rolls out of the cart banks its values and advances the train one station. Station 5 unlocks persistent specials, station 10 adds a fifth row, station 15 unlocks the Bomber, which multiplies all visible values by up to 5x, and the Pyromancer, which burns a hot zone that upgrades and doubles whatever lands inside, and station 20 activates the Permanent Payer. The returning cast includes the Collector, Payer, Sniper, Collector Payer, Arms Dealer, Absorber, and Necromancer, plus the new Ticket Master, which pays the round’s running total into every symbol on screen.
The Supercharge Menu
Buys run from 100x for standard Free Spins through 250x for Ultra, 500x for Super Free Spins starting at station 15, up to 2,000x for the Ultra Super version, all at a stated 96.50% RTP. Ultra Mode applies the doubled 100,000x cap across every feature.
Ticket Master and the Endgame
The Ticket Master deserves its own note: it takes the round’s running total and pays it into every visible symbol, then applies a ticket of its own, which makes it both a payout multiplier and a station engine in one landing. Ticket effects always resolve last, after every other special has fired, so a well-stocked board that then shunts a full reel out the door banks everything at its peak. The Permanent Payer at station 20 is the format’s first true endgame reward: a symbol that survives the rest of the round and grows with every Payer that follows.
Money Train 5 Review
Where Money Train 4 made the board bigger, Money Train 5 makes it kinetic. The station track solves the format’s oldest weakness, rounds that stall with nothing to anticipate, by giving every ticket a visible destination, and the Bomber and Pyromancer are worthy late-game payoffs. The return to 5×4 keeps rounds readable in a way the sixth game sometimes was not. Pre-release, the open question is the economy: a 2,000x top buy and per-spin bonus-reel modes push the purchase menu further than the series has gone before. Mechanically, though, this looks like the smartest Money Cart since the second game.
