Play Demo
Chain Reaction Hold & Blitz is a fruit and gem slot from Iron Dog Studio, the in-house team at 1X2 Network, with a release date of October 14, 2026 on the provider’s game page. It does not use one big grid. The screen holds nine separate three-reel boards, each with its own payline, arranged 3 by 3 and coloured red, green and blue by row. 1X2 lists a max win of 12,500x, high volatility and a bet range of 0.10 to 20.00.
Base game
The paytable in the demo is a plain fruit set. Three matching symbols on a board pay, counted from the left reel, and only the highest win on a line is paid. At a 1.00 bet the listed three-of-a-kind prices are:
- Cherry 0.10, lemon 0.20, orange 0.30, plum 0.50
- Blue gem 2.00, red gem 3.00
The paytable screen was only captured down to the red gem, so the higher symbols are not listed here. Coin symbols with cash values (1.00, 2.00 and 3.00 appeared in the base game) sit among the fruit, and a diamond symbol shows up on some boards.
Hold & Blitz
The splash screen states the trigger in one line: filling a single board awards Hold & Blitz. The 1X2 page words it as landing three coins on one reel, so the two descriptions are close but not identical. The coins then lock in place and the bonus runs with a spin counter on each board, shown as three small diamonds under the reels.
The twist is what happens when a board fills completely. That sets off the Chain Reaction: extra symbols drop onto the other boards and any board whose spin counter has run down gets it reset. A filled board also earns a multiplier that is applied to its cash values when the bonus ends. In the demo one board showed an x4 tag, and its coins of 1.00, 1.00 and 3.00 came out at 4.00, 4.00 and 12.00 on the final screen, which is the multiplier applied to each value.
Jackpots
Four fixed jackpots sit to the left of the boards: Mini at 15x, Minor at 50x, Major at 150x and Mega at 1,000x the bet. The demo showed 15.00, 50.00, 150.00 and 1,000.00 on a 1.00 bet. The screenshots do not show how a jackpot is awarded, so the exact conditions are not covered here.
Buying the bonus
There is a single Bonus Buy option, Hold & Blitz at 70.00 on a 1.00 bet, so 70x. 1X2 also lists an Ante Bet that raises the chance of triggering the bonus; the demo screenshots did not include it, and no price for it is confirmed.
One demo round
The buy took the balance from 5,000.00 to 4,930.00. The bonus filled several boards, triggered the Chain Reaction, and finished with a return of 44.00 and a balance of 4,974.00. That is 26.00 below the 70.00 spent, a single result that says nothing about the average. Every board ended with at least one coin, and the x4 board was the only one with a multiplier tag on screen.
RTP and what to check
1X2 lists three RTP settings: 95%, 93% and 91%. Operators pick the version, so look at the game’s information screen at the casino before playing, because the gap between 95% and 91% matters over a long session. The page also describes the game as UKGC certified. Since the release date is still ahead, features and numbers could shift before launch, and the demo here is a staging build from the provider’s test environment.
