Special symbols in the base game

Unlike most book slots, the expanding symbol isn’t saved for the bonus. Any high or low symbol can be picked as the Special Symbol on a spin, and the strip above the reels shows the nine candidates in grey, from 10 to A plus the four characters. When enough of the Special Symbol lands, it expands to fill the whole reel and pays anywhere. Then the reels that didn’t match respin, and if more Special Symbols arrive they expand too.
