What a Super Scatter Adds

A Super Scatter is an upgraded version of the standard scatter: besides counting toward the bonus trigger, it does something extra. Depending on the game, that means paying an instant prize on landing, carrying a multiplier into the triggered round, or upgrading the bonus itself when it participates in the trigger.

Implementations tie the symbol to the game’s headline math: a Super Scatter may hold bet-multiple values like a cash prize, or guarantee an enhanced Free Spins variant when it appears among the triggering symbols. Rules state whether it substitutes for a regular scatter in the trigger count.

The label became widely known through Pragmatic Play releases in the Sweet Bonanza line, where the symbol combines trigger duty with printed values, effectively merging scatter and Cash Symbols behaviour.
