About Play’n GO

Play’n GO is a Swedish slot developer headquartered in Vaxjo, with roots in the late 1990s and one of the highest release cadences in the industry. The studio ships games at a near-monthly rhythm across two clearly separated design families.

The first family is the line slot in the mold of Rich Wilde and the Book of Dead: 5×3 grids, ten or so paylines, and free spins built around expanding special symbols. The Rich Wilde series is the anchor here, and its book formula has been re-applied to many other Play’n GO adventure titles.

The second family is the grid cascade. Reactoonz and Viking Runecraft run 7×7 cluster boards where cleared symbols charge feature meters, while Moon Princess compresses the same cascade thinking into a 5×5 grid with character abilities. These games made meter-driven design a Play’n GO signature.

Technically the studio favors self-contained math: no shared jackpot networks and few bonus buy options, with volatility expressed through feature frequency instead. Its franchises are maintained for years, receiving numbered sequels and seasonal editions rather than being replaced, which keeps the catalog unusually coherent for its size.
