About the Gates of Olympus Series

Gates of Olympus is Pragmatic Play‘s Greek mythology counterpart to the candy games: the original, released in February 2021, shares its skeleton with the Sweet Bonanza family. Wins pay anywhere from 8 or more matching symbols on a 6×5 grid, and every win tumbles away to admit new symbols.

The series’ signature is the multiplier orb. Zeus throws orbs worth up to 500x that stay on screen through a tumbling sequence; when it ends, their values are added together and applied to the total. Unlike Sweet Bonanza, orbs can land in the base game as well as in free spins, where the multiplier persists and accumulates across the whole round.

Sequels scale the same design upward. Gates of Olympus 1000 lifts the top orb to 1,000x and the win cap to 15,000x, while the Super Scatter and dice-themed variants port the formula to new trigger rules and audiences without touching the tumble core.

As a series, Gates of Olympus shows Pragmatic Play’s franchise method clearly: one proven math shape, re-skinned and re-tuned, with each version differentiated almost entirely by its multiplier ceiling and volatility profile.
